See AllMonte Albán Monte Albán is a large archaeological site located near the city of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. It was the capital of the Zapotec civilization from around 500 BC to 800 AD.Is one of the most important archeological sites in Oaxaca, was one of the first cities in Mesoamerica and was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, along with the colonial city of Oaxaca. This is one of the top ten Oaxaca city sights you shouldn't miss.20th November Market The 20th November market (Mercado 20 de Noviembre) in Oaxaca City centre is a must see, especially if you are hungry! The sights and smells of 20th November market are captivating especially if you haven’t visited a market in Oaxaca before. The 20 de Noviembre market has a variety of food stalls where you can sample many Oaxacan specialties, but carnivores flock to the one corridor that's known as "El Pasillo de las Carnes Asadas" (the grilled meats aisle). Follow your nose to find it: smoke and the smell of meat grilling are thick in the air. You can select the raw meat that looks best to you and have it grilled to your specifications as you watch on. Find a spot at one of the long tables with benches and order salsa and guacamole to accompany your feast. Buy some tortillas from one of the passing vendors, and enjoy! However is not all about grilled meat; there are many other foods available to buy there too, such as mole, empanadas etc. There is also the usual market merchandise that is typical to all markets in Oaxaca, dried chilies, vegetables, artisans etc. This market has the impression of merging with the Benito Júarez market as one is in front of the other.Luis Donaldo Colosio Park The “Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta” Children's Coexistence Park located in the San Felipe del Agua agency, in the municipality of Oaxaca de Juárez, is a natural space that the Government of State offers for the enjoyment of Oaxacan families. This property has beach volleyball courts, fast soccer, basketball, baseball field, outdoor gym area and a jogging track, to which the general population can have free access to perform various physical activation exercises, family life and learning.Likewise, it has recreational areas for all ages, shaded areas ideal for a "picnic" with family or friends, where they can even join the craft classes that are taught from Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.Also in this place there is a playroom, a place dedicated to individual or family reading aimed at boys and girls from 3 to 16 years of age, this from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, with more than 900 reading options of various genres. In addition, with the purpose of strengthening the knowledge acquired during the school period of secondary, high school and university students, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry consultancies are offered from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8: 00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.For these reasons, the Secretariat of Administration invites Oaxacan families to enjoy the attractions and options offered by the “Luis Donaldo Colosio” Park.Santo Domingo Church Gorgeous Santo Domingo is the most splendid of Oaxaca’s churches, with a finely carved baroque facade and nearly every square centimeter inside decorated in 3D relief with intricate gilt designs swirling around a profusion of painted figures. Most elaborate of all is the 18th-century Capilla de la Virgen del Rosario (Rosary Chapel) on the south side. The whole church takes on a magically warm glow during candlelit evening Mass.Santo Domingo was built mainly between 1570 and 1608 as part of the city’s Dominican monastery, with the finest artisans from Puebla and elsewhere helping in its construction. Like other big buildings in this earthquake-prone region, it has immensely thick stone walls.Santo Domingo de Guzmán (1172−1221), the Spanish monk who founded the Dominican order, appears as the right-hand one of the two figures holding a church in the center of the facade, and his elaborate family tree adorns the ceiling immediately inside. The Dominicans observed strict vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, and in Mexico they protected the indigenous people from other colonists’ excesses.Benito Juarez market Vibrant covered marketplace with vendors selling produce, prepared foods, crafts & textiles. This delightfully eclectic market has a small bit of everything Oaxacan. Though not indicated the Benito Júarez market is divided into sections, all of the butchers are in one part, all the artisans in another, and all the cheese-makers in another etc. In this wonderful little market you can find pretty much anything that you could want to buy as there is a small representation of all things Oaxacan here. The Benito Júarez market is quite popular with tourists due to its central location, but it is also very popular with Oaxacans. With the Benito Júarez market being so close to the centre can you afford not to visit?Plaza Mercury -Boliche-Gotcha láser-Holo Gate-Fun times with friends
